Who Am I?

HEY, I'M ASHLEY!

 I’m a mom, bookworm, numbers nerd, weather enthusiast, awkward introvert, and foodie.

I became a mom at 19 and was thrust into the real world, real fast.

I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing, but I knew I had to figure it out for my daughter. So I did what anyone else does… I worked my $10/hour job and tried my best to stay afloat.

Fast forward a few years to my mid 20’s… I was making less than $40K/year, had racked up over $10,000 of debt trying to survive, my bank account was negative, and I had NO SAVINGS whatsoever.

Actually I had no idea about money at all. My parents didn’t teach me, and neither did school (I’m sure you can relate to this).

I wanted better… not only for myself, but for my daughter. I decided enough was enough – I was going to take control of my life and do my best to create a stable and secure future for us.

Fast forward to now, my early 30’s: I’ve paid off all $10,000+ of debt, plus a car… saved a fully funded emergency fund, invested in my retirement and my kids’ futures, bought a house, paid for my wedding in cash, and best of all… I have SECURITY and PEACE OF MIND.

I don’t say this to flex, I say it because I want YOU to understand and truly know that YOU CAN DO THESE SAME THINGS. I am just a regular person who got fed up enough that I decided to change my life by any means necessary.

Money literally impacts everything you do, and it isn’t fair that we aren’t taught these things from the start. I’ve made it my life’s mission to teach as many people who will listen EXACTLY HOW I did these things. 

Nobody deserves to stress themselves to sleep at night worrying about their money.
